After a recent landscaping project, the campus receives a large number of visitors. Buildings on the site include the Dhananjaya Rao Gadgil Library, as well as academic, faculty, and administrative offices. The Kale Memorial Hall, located on the top level of the library, is utilised by the institute and is also available for hire. 

The city's historic beauty is reflected in the city's austere and stately architecture. Gokhale accepted the Servants of India Society's oaths of poverty, obedience, and duty to the country at the foot of Fergusson Hill behind the institute. Since a column was put up there, it has become a landmark. The home that formerly belonged to Gokhale still exists on the site. The presence of a majestic banyan tree just adds to the ambience. Mahatma Gandhi was reported to have considered Gopal Krishna Gokhale to be a political mentor throughout his lifetime, and here is the tree where they sat and discussed politics. GIPE Pune residential campus is also surrounded by thick flora, which lends the site a particular quaintness, especially in the rains.

Another hundred or so volumes from the 18th and 19th centuries are also available.
